High Energy Piping (HEP) Part 3
HEP Metallurgy CSEF (P91) and Low Alloy Steels
HEP Metallurgy CSEF (P91) and Low Alloy Steels
This webinar will first provide a brief introduction to the steels commonly used in high-energy piping systems, and then provide a more in-depth review of the significant differences between traditional low-alloy steels, such as P11 and P22, and the more recently-introduced creep strength enhanced ferritic steels, such as P91, particularly with regard to manufacture, quality control, creep damage development, and creep damage detection. The implications of these differences for management of high-energy piping systems will be discussed.
