From conventional UT (low frequency and high frequency) phased array UT (linear array, annular array, matrix array, and FMC/TFM) immersion UT testing, Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD), numerous manual, semi-automated, and fully automated scanning systems.
Guided Wave Testing (GWT) NDE
Ultrasonic guided waves are a viable option for the rapid inspection of buried, insulated, or otherwise inaccessible piping.
Guided Wave Testing (GWT) ‘s primary advantage is its ability to detect and locate corrosion remotely so that we can provide reductions in both inspection time and cost.
SR-GWT with Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducers (EMATs)
Structural Integrity has a team of individuals capable of providing EMAT field inspections with a portable, ruggedized, and battery-powered system.

CUSTOM SOLUTIONS
Off-the-shelf scanners or solutions won’t always work for your specific needs; therefore, SI has the capability of designing and manufacturing custom solutions.
SI has many examples of successful custom Non-destructive evaluation (NDE) solutions, such as the SI Inside Vessel Automated Scanner (SIIVAS), or our High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) fusion joints technology and SI’s LATITUDE™ non-mechanized encoding technology.
TRADITIONAL NDE
Be it advanced ultrasonic solutions or traditional NDE needs; SI has the expertise.
We provide support of traditional NDE methods, including surface eddy current testing, surface dry or wet magnetic particle examinations, liquid dye penetrant testing, rubber medium contrast magnetic particle, ultrasonic thickness/FAC testing, conventional UT shear and longitudinal wave examinations, and materials testing services (hardness testing, surface replication, material composition testing).
3D LASER
Conventional pit gauge measurement of external corrosion on pipe surfaces can be a time-consuming and inaccurate process.
Overall, the 3D laser scanner improves accuracy, dramatically reduces the amount of time spent gathering data for external corrosion on piping, and creates accurate 3D models of difficult-to-measure parts.
